Asus GL552VM Slow boot SSD

So I have had my Asus GL552VM for about 6 months now and I am really frustrated about my boot time. It is about 30 seconds and I have a friend who has the Asus GL752(the 17 inch version) and his boot time is like 15 seconds. On my previous laptop, a really old Lenovo it took 15 seconds from the same SSD.

I'm running Bios 300 on it (the latest version). I have tried to downgrade the bios through Winflash, but the new version (3) doesn't allow me to use the /nodate thing. I have tried to use Version 2 of Winflash, but it doesn't recognise the current bios. So i have no idea how to downgrade.

I have looked online through loads of solutions including using Windows Performance Analyser and Recorder to see whats wrong, but i cant find anything that can help me.

I'm suspecting this is a bios issue, as Asus is well known for messing up boot times through bios updates.

Can anyone help me find the problem??

Thanks,

Yea, but I have read loads of articles on the fact that asus bios updates cause slow boot. And for an SSD, i know 30s is too much... I get your point, and I know that I shouldnt fiddle with it. But I like finding out what the problem is

I just noticed that you said you had this SSD in another system, did you do a clean Windows setup on the drive when you moved it over? Has this always happened? Where is the boot time taken up, when Windows is trying to load or when the system is loading before Windows even starts?

Thanks for replying again @hang-the-9. I did perform a clean install. On this laptop i always had slow boot. The boot time is taken on windows logon, that's what i got from the Windows Performance Analyzer. It does take quite a bit of time. I will post a video of the boot. The boot time is taken up before the windows is trying to load, but after as well. It is quite even to be honest..
Here is a link for the boot times LINK
