Asus K55V - Clean Install Win7 Issue

My son plays Minecraft on this laptop and one day when he turned it on, it only goes to Asus Recovery. (Asus Preload Wizard) --I don't have the CDs, so it the end it gives me an error.

I bought a new hard drive and put a Win 7 disk in, changed the boot up order and it won't read the Win7 CD.

It says;
Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key

I also used another CD and it says the same thing.

Can someone please help?

Do you have the CD/DVD drive set as the first boot device? If not, it may be trying to boot from the new hard drive.

Yes, I changed the boot sequence.

Sounds like it's not reading your disc then. Try moving the installation over to a USB drive and then boot from and install from that. You may need to create the .iso file from your installation DVD.
