Hello,

My asus keyboard (G771JM) stopped working for no apparent reason.

I have tried uninstalling the drivers and restarting the computer so that it installs them again.. didn't work!

I've tried uninstalling the ATK Package, restart the computer and install the newest version of said package.. didn't work either.

I'm short of ideas since I cannot start on Safe Mode. I can, however, get into the BIOS (keyboard seems to work there and stop working when windows loads).

Anyone has any idea what to do next?

Thanks :)

You may wish to try connecting an external keyboard and see if it works fine. If it does, then it could be the keys themselves that are the issue.

You may also want to try updating the Synaptics Driver if the above doesn't help.

Hello webworkings,

An external keyboard doesn't work either. I will try to update the Synaptics Driver and will let you know.

Thanks for your response :)

Update : So, I've tried installing the 8.1-64 bits drivers (ATK and Smart Gesture) because there are no windows 10-64 bits drivers for my notebook on asus' website. Still not working.. (keyboard and touchpad). I believe that I will be bringing my notebook to a techncian somewhere so that they can fix it..
