asus laptop getting too [much heated up] hot

hello my name is ankur and I m a student ...recently I have bought an asus r558uq model lappi and I have noticed a sort of overheating issue and also its battery life has decreased ..so plzz tell me what to do ..help me out...

If you just got this new, I would contact the place you bought it from or the manufacturer. No new device should do any of that.
