Hello,

I bought this Asus computer (http://www.boulanger.fr/portable_asus_n751jk_t7128h/p_65511_727454.htm) which has a 128GB SSD but I have demand a refund to buy the top version of this model which has a 256 GB SSD.
In the meantime I read that electric consumption is known to increase with the size of the SSD, so, I regret not having kept the first one and I hesitate to enjoy a good deal
with the 256 SSD one because I was surprised by the very good battery life of this laptop and I don't want to be disappointed with the 256 version.
I don't know what models of SSD drives Asus put in their laptops so I could not verify their power consumption.
Is it possible for instance that the 128 SSD may consume more than the 256 SSD if they are'nt same model or same brand?

I am still with a 2003 Dell dimension desktop with a half full140 GB HDD so, 128 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD or 256 GB SSD + 1TB HDD, it is the same for me, so I don't want to pay a little more for loosing few minutes of battery life.

If someone could enlighten me, I would thank him.

I don't think the difference in battery life consumption will be noticeable. SSDs are remarkably power efficient.

In the grand scheme of things, there may be a few seconds difference at most in a worst case scenario, but honestly I doubt it. If you were pleased with the battery life of the 128GB version, you will be pleased with it for the 256.
