Asus notebook won't turn on

I have an asus XX551MAV. I spilled water on the keyboard. It shut off immediantly and I opened it up and cleaned the water out with a cloth and vaccum. I waited a few hours and tried to turn it on. The indicator for power and battery are both lit green but I hear no noises and it won't start up. Should I take it to a place so they can look at it? How screwed am I? Help please!

open the laptop all the way open & lay it upside down so that the keyboard is facing downward. leave it alone for a day to dryout.
