Asus transformer pad tf300t vs Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0

So currently I have the asus transformer pad tf300t, and am looking to replace it with something smaller, not really for work or anything, I am just wanting something more mobile. So is it worth the switch? Go with a different small tablet? Or just keep the tf300t? If you suggest a tablet, I would like it to be 400 and under because that is what I can sell the tf300t for including all the accesories I have for it.

I decided to choose this over the nexus 7, but do you know of any other medium sized (7-8 inch) tablets that I am missing that might be cheaper but with similar performance?
