Asus UX303L cursor disappearing

I am having an issue with the cursor disappearing on my Asus laptop. I will be updating the touch pad drivers (though I don't think it's a driver issue). But, once you go from using the touchscreen, and then back to touch pad, it'll disappear on the screen. Is this a known issue with Windows 8.1? If anyone else has experienced this issue, please elaborate! I have done some searching on Google specific to my Asus, but have not found much of anything.

It looks like in Asus, the problem can be resolved by pressing Fn + F9. You can find more details and solution for the issue on this thread.
