Asus Video card, HDMI, pc screen larger than tv screen, resize?

I recently installed a Asus video card with a HDMI port. I hook it to my Sony LCD and the screen size is now larger than my tv. I have tried changing resolution, but no change. I have the latest video drivers and even did the explorer.exe swap. help!

I found the NVidia control panel, downloaded it and enabled resizing, now it works fine!!! http://nvidia-display-control-panel.en.lo4d.com/

So not sure why you had to download it from some weird site, it comes with nVidia's drivers. I cannot even remember if you can choose not to install it. Anyway I would be weary of where you downloaded that control panel from.

All I can say is it worked. Not all resolutions are resizable though. I had downloaded drivers from Nvidia Experience, and it wasn't a option before.
