Asus x555L Hard drive problem...

I just bought a asus x555l-HI31103J I have been using it for a few days and I started to notice a grating sound coming from the Hard drive when multitasking disk usage is almost always at 100%. And I was wondering if I can replace the 1 tb 2.5 2400r sata drive with a 500gb ssd. How would I replace windows and any suggested ssd's?

I've the same laptop and I've seen the same 100% and the hard drive is 5200Rpm that's a bit old I'd suggest replace it with a ssd 240Gb and use the old hard drive as portable one using an enclosure..Ill be doing it next week or so..
