Asus Xonar DGX in stereo?

[Noob question] I looked on a Asus Xonar DGX but i need to know if i can use the sound card in stereo because i don't want to use surround. ( I use stereo headphones if that helps)

Sure, you can use as many or as few channels as you want. It will work fine with a basic 2.0 stereo set or headphones.
