Asus ZX53VW Screen flashes black

My new notebook i bought (ASUS ZX53VW) recently came in. I set it up and it was well after a little bit the screen flashed black for a split second but came back to its original state. Nothing seems to be wrong it is just annoying. I've tried reinstalling drivers but that did nothing.

If this is a new device, take it back. It should not do that and it is possible that there is a problem with the display or even the GPU. Better to get them to exchange it for a problem free one than to let it be and be stuck with paying for a repair later.
