Ive recently bought a SD-793II amp/dac from SMSL. It came with nothing other than a power cable so I would like to know what cable I need to go out and buy to connect it to my PC's motherboard.

My MOBO is the Gigabyte GA-Z270x-UD3. There isnt much in the way of audio ports on the IO and there isnt anywhere to connect an audio fiber cable which is the main way of getting audio in on the DAC.

Now, Im definitely not an audiophile but Ive come to realize the importance of accurate and studio sounding audio. Id like to know if one of the other ports in the back of the DAC could connect to the PC or if I need an adapter while still maintaining as much audio quality as I can.

If Im overlooking some crucial info lmk.
Thanks in advance.

A DAC with USB would have been simpler but you can get a USB to COAX converter

Since using a USB to spdif converter is still digital all the way, at this level, it won't screw up the sound. There are more expensive converters like the M2tech Hiface but they don't make sense for you now.
