Aurum cable issue

I recently purchased a 25ft Aurum flat HDMI cable in order to properly use my surround sound bluray with the Favi projector but it keeps bouncing between Invalid For.. and No Signal.

Any suggestions on how to remedy this? Tried the 'handshake' method to no avail..

Sometimes the combination of source-cable-display doesn't work because the manufacturers don't stick to the HDMI standard very well. With a long cable the problems become worse. You could try adding an HDMI signal booster like this:

Or try a different cable if you can.
