How can I auto-run-at-startup in PPC 2003?
And how do I set my pda to close an application when I tap on X instead
of just "minimizing" it?
Or does anyone know of a utility that can do what I want?
Thanks
Barend

Sorry, that was the first question, and I meant to add a little more before
I hit send.
-Go to the icon that runs the program, just look in the Windows/Start Menu/
Programs directory.
-click and hold on the program name, choose Copy off the menu.
-Change the directory in FileExplorer to Windows/Startup
-Choose Edit, Paste shortcut from the menu at the bottom of the screen (you
can also click in the file area and hold to get a context sensitive menu).

Be careful not to move the shortcut, only copy it or you may get other
difficulties -starting the program manually or if you delete the startup
link.

To close an application there's at least one program but I don't recall the
name at the moment- try a web search. Perhaps someone will post names for
you.

I would guess you are wanting to run an app whenever you power on the PPC.
That is not easily accomplished, and not without programming. The
suggestions about the Startup folder will start an application when you soft
reset the PPC. The reality is that the PPC never really turns off, so when
you turn it on you are really just bringing it out of suspend, not starting
it. I know there is a turn on event that is accessible programmatically,
but don't know any more than that about it. I also don't know of any utility
that takes advantage of that event and lets you specify a 'startup' app.

Another 'X to close' option is Pocket Plus. It has many other features that
you will likely discover missing from your PPC.

Close apps by using cLaunch application
launcher. Just Google for it.
