Solved! Avast restart request

So i got avast a few days ago because of a virus scare. now, without reason, it is asking me to restart my computer. i told it to remind me in four hours. so three more hours and it will remind me. this is my first thread so forgive me if it is weird. there was no reason for me to restart my pc, and when i checked the antivirus, it would not allow me to run a scan, only to restart. can anybody tell me why? i'm very worried about my pc.

i do not know my computer specs btw, i will find them from command prompt and upload them if needed.

where did you download it from?
it could have done an update.

I downloaded it from MS Store. I believe it is a legit version. I will see if it allows me to do a rollback, and if so it could have been an update. thank you!
