Battery Discharging while laptop is off

I have Lenovo Ideapad Y500 , and I noticed that when I turn off the laptop with a battery charge of 100% and turn it on 10 hours later, the battery is at 84%!!!! It is a big big discharge rate for a new battery, maybe if it had some years of use and a lot of charge/discharge cycles, it would be normal but not like it is now!
could u help me , I bought the Laptop near 1 month back and from first day I face through this problem

Try draining it completely and fully recharge it (typically 8 hours, but might be less now). Also are you verifying that your system is completely shut down (not in hibernate or standby)?
