Battlefield 3 APPCRASH on Asus G73JH, i cant play. Crash description in details.

Hi guys so basically i got battlefield 3 on origin and haven't been able to get it to work, every time i start the game i get an appcrash and can't play.
I have an ASUS ROG G73JH with 16GB ram and a ATI Mobility Radeon HD5870 graphics card. please help i can't deal with this anymore......

Yea i was actually just on that forum before I came on to Tom's Hardware.....

;1. Download Catalyst 10.6 from here ( http/support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/previous/Pages/radeonaiw_vista64.aspx [support.amd.com] ) or search AMD's support website for catalyst 10.6 if you don't use vista/7 64bit.
2. Download the most recent version of catalyst.
3. Uninstall all AMD/ATI/Catalyst software.
4. Directly uninstall the video drivers using your computers device manager.
5. Install Catalyst 10.6. (after catalyst install, had to wait for windows to automatically install video drivers)
6. Install the latest catalyst software (as of 3/9/2012 it's version 12.2).
7. Remember to restart (should have a couple times already anyway).

atidxx32.ddl should now be updated.

Yip tried it and nothing happened it just did the same thing

Did you try -
"I fixed my issue. It was simply a problem with origin sync. This is how I did it:

1. Disable Cloud Storage in Origin "settings"
2. Then go to Start -> Documents. Delete the file "Battlefield 3".
3. Run the game. " ?
