Behringer 302USB Xenyx 5 Input Mixer + Audio Technica AT2020

Hello I recently purchased a Behringer 302USB Xenyx 5 Input Mixer and a AT2020 with an XLR cable off a Amazon, I setup the Behringer Mixer to my computer with the USB, it says power on and I've connected my AT2020 with XLR cable, but whenever i plugin my headphones into the mixer and goto windows and set the mixer as the default Playback device then people can hear my desktop audio through my Microphone on Skype etc.. Does anyone know why or how they can help me?

The usb works both as an input and an output. So what you did was: pc sound enters the mixer, goes into main mix alongside your microphone and leaves both via usb and rca (the rca output can you just ignore). Press the red button so that it is in up position. That removes the usb input into the mixer. That should fix the problem. Please respond if this fix worked.
