Best budget laptop School work/light gaming

Budget = about 400-500 CAD
Needed = laptop
Screen size = about 15''
Uses = School work/browsing internet/light gaming(League of legends, Skyrim,etc)
Time = Needs to last about 4-5 years min.
I am buying soon, so if you can find a boxing week sale or any other sale, that would be great.

Obviously this isn't an exact exchange but CAD $500 is under £250 GBP. You can get a laptop that will last 4 years for school / uni work, browsing the internet etc for that price but theres no way you could run Skrim on a laptop that price and future games on a cheap laptop doesn't really bear thinking about...

Does it definitely need to be a laptop?

my also has an i5, but a 120GB samsung SSD, the one i suggested has a 160GB SSD. it is also great with light gaming like league, not so much skyrim.
