Hello, What is the best headset right now for Gaming right now? The price doesn't really matter.
I looked around on the internet and this is what I found:

1. Sennheiser G4ME Zero
2. ATH-ADG1
3. Razer Kraken 7.1 (Chroma)
4. Another Headset?

Thanks in Advance!
Thomas

- AT ADG1 /think of it as AT AD700X with a great microphone. which can be had for about $150 and modmic comes for about $40/,
- then G4ME ZERO
- and lastly Razer /virtual surround sucks unless you have a decent gaming sound card such as SB Z and usb headsets are mildly speaking the pits - because they bypass your sound card all together and be used only with something that has usb input/.

depends all on what sound card do you have. if integrated on-board crap, then go get some $20 worth tesco grade crap - there won't be much of a difference... :D

My first choice for a wired headset would be the Razer Kraken 7.1, The wireless options are the Corsair 2100 and the Logitech G930. But for wired i would definitely go for the Kraken 7.1 because it has great sound and looks awesome .

What do you wanna spend on a soundcard? Because you have them in all price ranges (15-250 dollars)

These are the top 3 gaming headsets for 2015 that are making a lot of buzz in the market:

1. ZPS Sades Stereo 7.1 Surround Pro USB Gaming Headset
2. Turtle Beach Ear Force X12 Gaming Headset
3. Skullcandy PLYR2 Surround Sound Wireless Gaming

I also recommend these headsets http://headsetplus.com/blog/7-wireless-headsets-best-quality/ for their great quality.

Sound card: Using an Asus Xonar DX, its pretty decent.

Headset wise, assuming you are not going for a pair of headphones + modmic, which in most cases are much better, I'll say the Sennheiser G4me Zero or Beyerdynamic MMX 300 are the top closed back gaming headset, I like the sound signature of the MMX 300 more but it is a lot more expensive. Open back options I would recommend is the Audio Technica ATH-ADG1 and Sennheiser PC 363D, I'll take the 363D over the ATH-ADG1 in this case as I find the Winged design of the Audio Technica is not that comfortable to me.

Kraken is not bad too but the sound quality is far from being on-par with the other 2 you stated, it looks cooler than the other options though, I only own a non-chroma version though, I don't know if they improved it with their chroma version, doubt so.
