Best Headphones Under $300

I’m looking for the best pair of closed back headphones to listen to electronic and hip-hop music for under or around $200-300

I plan on using a Schiit Modi 2 and a Vali 2 but if there are very low impedance headphones then I will just ditch the amp and just buy a higher quality DAC.

Or find a used Massdrop x Fostex TH-X00. Purpleheart for crazy bassheads who don't care about vocals, Ebony for a neutral presentation that works with almost any music or Mahogany for a balance of the other two.

Edit: Just for something different the Philips Fidelio X2 is open back but by all accounts it has excellent bass.

Audio Technica ATH-M50 (best price/performance) <-- owned this several years ago. I gave it to my brother
V-Moda M100 (built like a tank, sounded really good but not very comfortable) <-- owned this but mainly used only for short commuting, sold this
Sennheiser HD599 (very comfortable, sounds good but a bit lack in bass) <-- my actual main headphone
Beyerdynamic DT880 (many friends recommended this too) <-- I haven't used this one for longer period
Sony MDR100ABN (bluetooth with ANC, sounds very good for a bluetooth unit, very comfortable) <---my actual daily commuting driver
