Best Laptop for around $2600

I have been saving money to invest in a laptop for school. Im mainly looking to program and play games like COD, CS, LoL, etc. Also would be nice if it looked aesthetically pleasing. Thank you

Probably MSI screen is better. You should actually check some reviews about both of em, since its all about personal opinion.
Also people may point out potential faults/things that you may dislike about each of those.

Take a note that you wont have high battery duration in any of those laptops.
Do not expect a laptop that can play those games @medium>high to last more than 2-3hrs while working with excel/word office stuff and browsing.
Not including youtube, which is a battery drainer too.

I'd say this is a pretty good laptop. It has a GTX 1080, 16 GB DDR4-2400, i7-6820HK, a 128 GB SSD and a 1 TB HDD, as well as Windows 10. Do note that there will be a lot of bloatware that comes with the laptop, so you'll really need to remove a ton of useless apps first. If you prefer a different brand, do mention it, so I can try to find a different brand's laptop. Also, this is much more heavier than you'd like - it weighs a brain-cracking 8.6 lbs.

Honestly, there's way too many laptops out there, and you need to know very specifically what you need to be able to get the results down to something relevant to you. On Amazon, I searched for laptops in $1000-$2600 range, and with a 15"+ screen, and there's still 162 results. I'm linking a much more refined search, with specs relevant to gaming laptops:

Thanks for the responses, I was wondering if these laptops would make a lot of fan noise because I'm planning on using this in class

Yup, most of them would be a little on the noisy side, because the gaming components would generate tons of heat that needs to be dissipated. My recommendation would be that you use some software to create a low-noise profile for class, where the components are underclocked a bit, so as to reduce the heat generated (unless you plan on gaming in class 😀). This'll slow down the fans, and the noise should be less then. You can use MSI Afterburner to underclock the GPU, but I don't know if there's any software that'll help you underclock the CPU with one-click. I'm sure you can find one, though, or someone else here may be able to suggest one.
