Hello all,

I have 2 rooms, the TV room, and my bedroom.

Current Setup:

TV & PS4 in the TV room.
TV, 1080 Projector, PC, Surround sound in Bedroom.

My PC is connected to Both TVs and the Projector (HDMI) + the Surround sound (Y Audio Cable). Using bluetooth mice n keyboards.

The PS4 is connected to the TV in the TV Room.

I have 2 surround sound systems, one is the Pioneer XV-DV151 and the other is LG DH3140S.
Neither one of them have HDMI or Optical.

My PC & PS4 have HDMI & Optical. The TVs have only HDMI.

Please advice how can I connect the surround to my PC or TV or PS4 to get 5.1 surround.

I am a noob when it comes to these things, any advice will be appreciated

This is my current motherboard http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-ENVY-Phoenix-h9-Desktop-PC-series/5330769/model/5333074/document/c03132942#N60

Thanks.

If you use an HDMI distribution amp to split the HDMI output of the PS4 you can connect it to the TV room TV and the bedroom projector. How you get the HDMI to the bedroom depends on the situation. You could use a long HDMI cable, run CAT6 and use adapters, use a coax antenna cable with adapters, or go wireless HDMI. To get the audio into your surround system you would use a HDMI audio extractor/switch so you could select what video goes to the projector and what audio goes to the surround system.
