big loss of data please help

I have refreshed my acer v5-571p . now the PC has no data and there is only one drive 'c' in it. I have made a recovery ,when PC was upgraded to win8.1 with this USB recovery. I have lost all my data and files . please help to install 8.1 again with my files..

I'm afraid that by reinstalling the operating system you seem to have overwritten your data. Your chances of recovery are now almost zero. Was there a particular reason that you needed to reinstall?

You might like to check Disk Management to see if there is a partition that doesn't have a drive letter associated with it. If so, give it a letter and see if it contains your missing data.

It sounds as if you didn't keep any backup copies of your data. Although too late now, it would be a very good idea to do so in future; hard disks have been known to fail.

try recovery apps like "recuva",

see if it still can save/detect deleted data...
