BIOS question for ASUS Q550LF users

My BIOS version is most likely the default one the laptop shipped with(205). I was wondering if anyone who has had this laptop updated the BIOS from the ASUS website and had any problems solved. Was the integration between Nvidia and Intel any better? Did your games run any better? Were there any Nvidia improvements? Is there any real reason to do this?

Hi,

The latest BIOS version there is on ASUS Support site is already 214 which is an update to improve stability with Nvidia graphics card.

It will not hurt if you do a BIOS update since you have the oldest version updating it may help a lot in improving the performance of your PC.

I know it's late, but I hope you didn't update your BIOS. After my BIOS update my device starts to work from battery in sleep mode. More over, after waking up it continues not to see that it plugged. The only thing that helps is to unplug it and plug it again. I've already tried without success:

1.The BIOS parameter Power Off Energy Saving.
2.All other versions of BIOS which are represented on Asus official site.
3.Deleting Microsoft ACPI - Compliant Control Method Battery and Microsoft AC adapter.
4.Asus support (absolutely not competent in this question).
