Hi all,
I have an X1 Carbon(4th Gen, Windows10 home). I recently restored it to factory settings. After resetting I found that the brightness adjusting function doesn't work, so I went to update the Intel HD Graphic driver. Black screen immediately occurred after the installation.(I'm sure windows is still loading) I forced it to restart and it went black screen again after the Lenovo logo.
Since I don't have any restore point, the only thing I could do is to disable the driver in safe mode. After that, I tried multiple versions of the driver and none of them worked. Without the driver, now I still can't adjust brightness. The pain is still there.
Any thoughts?
