Connected a new blu ray player to my receiver with a 3' high speed hdmi cable. Connected the output from Onkyo receiver to Sony 4K tv with a 25' high speed hdmi cable. In just a couple of minutes video starts to flash then freezes but the audio continues. If I unplug from receiver and plug directly to blu ray player, lose sound system, video is fine. Onkyo support says I should use a shorter hdmi run to the tv. Very hard for me to do since tv is 20' away. Is there something else causing the problem? Or something else to consider?

Solution
Is the Onkyo compatible with a 4k signal?
A different long HDMI cable might work. HDMI is dependent on how the receiver - cable - TV all meet the HDMI standard. How high is high speed? A cable for 4k should have a data rate of 18gbs. Many are 10gbs.
