Hello, my MSI ghost ge60 2qe won't boot off my bootable cd, it is not recognized by uefi, but is by legacy mode. It is not in the bbs config in the bios even. I have the boot order set to boot off cd before the hdd. How do I boot off my cd in uefi?

Hi

What boot cd?
What operating system?
Is secure boot enabled ?
If secure boot on you need win 8 or 10 or a few linux distributions?

Regards
Mike Barnes

secure boot is disabled as I try to boot "boot repair disk" on a cd on my windows 8.1 machine. 8.1 seems to have all the files, unless pbr is on root, but it won't boot.

Is this a Windows repair disc you made, or something else? (And if it's a Win 10 repair disc, did you create it within a Windows installation that was running in UEFI?)
