Hi there sunshine411,

Most probably there is either something wrong with the HDD, the cables or the SATA port. My guess would be that the HDD is not recognized by BIOS right?
One thing you can do is to take the drive out of your system and attach it to another one as a secondary one. That way, you will be sure whether there is something wrong with your system or the HDD itself.
