Hi im new to the forum

I recently formatted my HDD using Dban in order to clean install windows 7.
However Ive been getting "BOOTMGR is missing" after the first reboot of installing Windows 7. but when took out my SSD and tried to install windows 7 on it from my friends laptop. it worked on his laptop.
However i than noticed when i loaded windows 7 installation on my laptop without a HDD, the installation still detects a HDD with 14GB.
However when i installed my orginal SSD (which i installed windows 7 on from my friends laptop) , i got a Bluescreen for a split second than restarts again.

Laptop model: Samsung NP530u3B
CPU- I5-2500k
SSD- Intel 330 series

Solution
Then two ideas:
-install Windows on your friend's laptop, with SATA set to AHCI
-try installing Windows on your laptop. Delete all partitions on the SSD, format it and try installing. It should work.
Installing from DVD or USB?
