Bose Cinemate II - can it default to ON?

I have a Bose Cinemate II hooked up via optical link to Panasonic TV. I'd love the Cinemate to just stay on so its always active when the Tv comes on - save hunting for the remote and an extra step.

If you find that just leaving it on doesn't work then it's unlikely you can get it to stay on. European standards limit standby power drain to about .5 watts so most electronics will automatically go into standby if not receiving a signal for a certain amount of time.
