Budget everyday use laptop (CANADA)

I need to buy a laptop capable of everyday tasks and homework (Office), little multitasking, multimedia purposes and very little to none gaming (for example Counter Strike).
There is only one problem, my budget is only around 500 canadian dollars and from the research I've done so far, I haven't found suitable laptops within my budget here in Canada. I'd really like to have more than 32 GB of storage and I kinda need something snappy.
There is only one more thing, it must be Windows OS, I've already tried a Chromebook and it didn't suit me.
I do reckon that my criteria are quite difficult, but maybe you guys can help me figure it out. Thanks in advance.

The $500 ones aren't the best but getting closer to $600 gets you intel 6th gen chips, decent ram and storage, etc.

I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be rude, but could you pinpoint a few options? Because I've already done a lot of research, but didn't find a clear "winner" amongst most canadian laptops.
