Buying BitDefender. Which version should I go for ?

Hi, I am getting BitDefender but confused on what version to get for. I just want my PC to be free from viruses, spywares and hackers etc.
So kindly suggest which version should I go for ?
I am on Windows 7 now , but will switch to Win 8.1 tomorrow.

And also if you guys recommend Internet or Total Security which has Firewalls , is it necessary to turn OFF Windows Firewall when Firewall from Internet Security is turned ON ?

Well I was thinking that total security would be the best.
