Can I change/upgrade my dell xps m1330 cpu intel core duo T7500 to new I7 (2nd or 3rd generation?), and if so; what other components do I need to replace to make it compatible for the whole system to work properly. I also would like to upgrade the OS from windows vista to windows 7 home premium. Thanks

They are different sockets so there is nothing to do but to buy another laptop.
