I'm playing this online game http://as.cherrycredits.com/info
It needs nvidia gt 8800, scroll down to the lowest part to see the sys req of the game.

My father says he will give me a Acer aaspire E14. I don't know its particular specs, but I researched and discovered (http://www.notebookcheck.net/Acer-Aspire-E14-Series.125262.0.html) it has either gt 820m OR Intel HD 4400. I'm planning to tell him to buy any laptop with 740 graphics but I think he has already bought the e14..

1. The game might not run using HD 4400. if it doesnt run, is there a hack or *change setting* to force it to run in an Intel graphics?

2. I have gt 430 in my desktop. And I'm playing it there, and it plays very smooth. But i have girlfriend, we want to play at the same itime. My question is, is 4400 faster GPU than gt 430?.

well, if it's a notebook then if it won't run, it won't. unless you buy a different notebook.
it should be able to play since the gpu is modern (not fast, but not old) but depending on the game, it may be slow

Wait, other laptop has 2 GPU,
Does it mean that my laptop has 820m as well, because my dad saw it in the stickers placed on the laptop, it says 4400 Intel HD.
Are ALL aspire e14 series are automatically gt820m?? Even though it only says intel hd 4400??

How did you know for certain that it has gt 820m?? When it says Intel HD 4400??

intel gpu's are built into the cpu, so if you have an intel cpu you will have an internal gpu (not sure if there's any intel cpu without a gpu built-in)
now it depends on the model of the laptop if they will add a discrete gpu.

but do not expect much from an 820m, it is not really meant for gaming

I just searched it on the internet. There are many variations of aspire e14.
If you scroll down the link, there are 2 more aspire e14. One has no 820m, just 4400.

Cons,
So all aspire e14 has 820m?

Well, if i'm to choose on AMD gpu and cpu model, which is the amd equivalent of:

1. I5 4200u
2. Gt 820m
3. Gt 740m

Thank you. Amd laptops, i think, are cheaper. But same performance??

No, you pay for the performance so in the end the price isn't going to be very different. The AMD CPU's have better graphics built in normally which would be a good thing for you but the processor side it going to be less for the same price.

Update

I have the laptop now. It's decent. My Acer Aspire E14 has i5 4210U @ turbo boost up to 2.7ghz. Intel HD 4400, and 2GB DDR3L memory.

i5 4210U is okay. but my 3 year old Athlon II X3 450 @3.2ghz is somewhat faster. I can switch from window to window faster in my desktop.

Intel HD 4400 is okay. BUT I see some flickerings (like horizontal static) on background, on the gaming. But doesnt appear on google chrome, if white background). Why?

How can I disable the touchpad?? It annoys me when my thumb accidentally touches the touchpad while typing, and it causes to left click even though I don't want to. I have mouse here already.

If I'm to buy extra 2gb memory, what kind of memory, brand, should I buy to boost the performance?
