Can I use my waterproof phone in the water?

I recently got a new droid turbo and am contemplating buying a waterproof case like this one:

It would be cool if I could use it in the pool or shower or just be kinda careless with it. Could I submerge it in water for a long time without any water damage with that case? Thanks!

They're supposed to be waterproof. Keep in mind its ment if you drop it in a sink or something. touch screens don't work under water

And you won't be able to get a signal under water.
