Can I use one channel of a two channel RCA cable for a subwoofer cable?

The title states the question. I recently purchased a Klipsch r-12sw online, it gets here today, and I realized I don't have an LFE Cable, or asingle channel RCA. I can go buy one, but i'd need to drive a half hour or so (small town, radio shack just went out of business :| unfortunate). I have ordered an LFE on amazon, but wont' be here for a few days.

So until then can I use just one channel of a dual channel RCA?
