Hi,
I want to connect my TV (that has only a digital (optical) out connector, to my new Bose speaker (which features an aux 3.5 input).

I have ordered an optical / analog convertor which I need. To connect the output of this convertor (the connector is a red & white female RCA connector) to the aux in (3.5mm jack) of the Bose speaker (SoundTouch 20), I apparently need a rca to 3.5mm cable.

I don't have such a cable, and they are quite expensive apparently (20 euro or more). But I do have a BN39-01154H (which is a 3.5mm Jack to 3x Female RCA ) and also a RCA male to female extension cable)

Would the combination of these 2 cables be the same as a RCA to 3.5mm cable?

That BN39-01154H is apparently a combination of audio (red & white) and video (yello) RCA to 3.5mm jack.

I would have liked to update a picture, but I can't find a way to do that.

So these links show you the cables that I'm talking about:

Thanks for your input!
