Hello, I was wondering if the Asus 701 EEE can have the Ram upgraded with ram from a regular laptop computer?

You you can if the RAM is DDR2-677 PC2-5300 200pin SODIMM, 1.8volts.
Remove the 512MB stick and replace with 1 stick of DDR2 up to 2GB.
