Can i use the USB on an screen to output audio?

So if i connect an lets say an xbone via HDMI to an PC screen and then use the USB on the screen to output audio to my USB headset!
Will that work?

I'm buying an PC screen to use as an monitor for console instead of an regular TV
beater resolution an sutch. I do have an small space so thats also why!

Most probably - not.

USB on PC monitors is just a USB hub. If nothing goes into the USB in connector, nothing will get out.
