So basically, I was going to get the Sager NP9750, but then saw that they had a i7-4820K processor, but I had a i7-4960X lying around, so I'm asking if it's possible to switch in my CPU for that specific laptop. Thanks in advance! :)

Do you mean the NP9570? The NP9750 comes up as an AMD Athlon X2-based laptop.

The NP9570 uses a desktop LGA2011 processor, according to the specs, so it could work. I'd be worried about the extra heat of 2 more cores, though, since laptops tend to run a bit warm without upgrades.

YES! Thank you! I KNEW something was fishy when everyone said it was outdated on other forums! But I should be able to take it apart and back together all right, correct? And I think I'll put the copper cooling upgrade.
