Canon EOS 80D need opinions

Hey, forum!
I need advice on the new camera I've been advised to buy. I own a 10-year-old (+/-) Olympus digital camera and I've been wanting to upgrade it for ages. I've talked to several stores and researched online and all reviews I find on this camera says it's great. My questions are there anyone in this forum, that has experiences with this? What is your take?

What is primary use for the camera? Still or video? What type of subjects?

The DPReview -- https/www.dpreview.com/reviews/canon-eos-80d-review looks very good.

But a camera BODY does not make a photography solution. If you have a lot of Olympus lenses then you might want to look into a body that can take advantage of your existing investment.

With all of the current cameras from the major camera manufacturers...you will rarely find any reviews that say "This is crap"
ALL of them are good. Canon/Nikon/Oly/Fuji/Pentax/etc.

And as above...you're not buying a camera body, you are buying into an ecosystem. In this case, Canon.

Features, ergonomics, intended use....
This may be better for video, that may be better for landscapes (with the right lens), this other one may have buttons too small...

I haven't bought any particular equipment for my old Olympus. No lenses or alike. All I had for the old one was a bag to carry it. Now I wish to get into more serious photography / video, I've seen many of the YouTube bloggers (as example - I'm not going to expose myself on YouTube) using the EOS 80D.
