I recently started my own Youtube channel. It is called Tech Today. I am looking into purchasing a DSLR or go mirror-less for my videos. I have heard that Canon really excels with video production, because they do more R&D on the video aspect of their DSLR's. I have heard Nikon is not as good for video, but on paper, the D5300 has a plethora of more features. As for the Samsung NX500, it shoots 4K at 30 FPS (I think), and can take 28 MP photos. Seems great, but there is no mic in jack, and syncing audio is a pain. Also what is your opinion on DSLR vs mirror-less. I have heard that most mirror-less do much better with video and deliver crisper results. Thanks in advance! I hope you can help!

Thanks for the response, but isn't 60 FPS better and smoother for video?

It depends our eyes our used to 24 or 30 fps it looks more natural. If you are making tech videos 60fps isn't really necessary. 60fps looks smooth, but is unnatural to me it looks good for video games and some sports stuff but that's it
