cant connect to steam

i was in the middle of a hearts of iron multiplayer game when i was returned to the server menu, saying i had lost connection. I reloaded the page and no servers were found, i was then logged out of steam, and tried to log back in, it said i had no internet connection, so i went on google, and my internet worked perfectly, but when i tried to get on any steam web pages it would just say "An error occurred while processing your request" or that the website wouldn't return any data.

I tried about 15 min ago to get on steam, had figure it had something to do with my computer being on steam at home. Being bored at work i figured i would see what steam deals were going on, guess not 🙁

It's a temporary issue , It will resolve , not a problem on your end it's a steam issue.

Had the same error last week and cleared.​

For future reference, any time I have a game or service down, I google its status.
