Can't get past bios screen.
Hi, I had a power supply blow up. Loud bang! Unit dead.
No burning smell thow.
Replaced power supply. Now:-650W . Was 600w.
Lights on in case.
Starts to BIOS screen.
Sees all drives.
Won't boot to drive to OS. WIN 10
Tried reinstalling motherboard drivers from disk that came with mother board.
Nothing happened.??

I have a 120 gig sandisk for C: drive. + other drives.
I've changed boot order a lot but never boots to OS?
Re-plugged the drives in different order. BIOS sees changed order still won't boot to OS.

When I change the BIOS settings and go to EXIT/SAVE window pops up an says no changes were made to BIOS??
Yet changes are changed after restart but no difference – will no boot OS?

Q. Did power surge cook mother board/drive??
Am I not doing something?

when you said it doesn't boot to window 10. does it error, just blank screen?

Hi rgd,
turn on machine.
I get republic of gamers logo.
Then
blank screen with flashing cursor.
then
then BIOS screen starts up.
And that's it.
I can't get it to go any further.
I had WIN 10 running on my SSD.

Strange.. No it didn't show an error.
Everything seems to work in the BIOS screen.
I can chang boot order and other things but when I go to "save and exit"
I get a message the no changes were made.
I exit.
Screen blanks out for a mintute.
Then I get the logo and back and then the BIOS screen.
and the changes are there that I made.

??????

I think something got fried when the power supply went.
I'm just tring to find out what I need to replace.

I would said the mobo.

it does have USB UEFI BIOS Flashback.
might try reflashing the bios.
