Solved! Can't hear sound from TV speaker after hooking up Hdmi cable to TV from laptop

I have a TCL LED Tv. From the time I got it about 4 months ago. I hooked up my acer laptop to it via HDMI. Everything was doing as normal until today. All of a sudden, I can't hear anything through the tv anymore. I hadn't change anything so I don't know what it going on.

Check that the audio device on your laptop is the HDMI connection.
