Can't send emails

Whenever I try to send a hotmail email now, I get an error message 0x80004004 and the Windows Live box pops up saying 'unable to send or receive emails for this Hotmail account'.....am still receiving new emails though. Alison

Hey Alison,
I assume you're using a desktop client to access your emails. I suggest using a browser to log into your email at http://www.outlook.com if this works then uninstall and reinstall the desktop client. If you are unable to send emails via your browser then contact Microsoft support.
