Email adress won't send new emails.

Hello everyone,

Today i bought a new pc for my grandma, after setting everything up (including her email) i thougt everything was working, however:

i can recieve emails, i can reply to them but when i try to send a new email it won't show up in the reciever's inbox. at least not when i send from her email to mine (hotmail).
when i made a temporary email adress it did show up when i send a new email.

why can't she send new emails to hotmail accounts but only reply to them?
she's using outlook 2007.

she's using ziggo, a dutch service if that may help.
