That depends on a lot of things wish you answer the first ? if it was a burnt cd it could have gotten marred up dirt scratches ect if its a retail cd you could probably go to a gamer store and have them buff it to work .

Could be, you can try cleaning the lens for what it's worth (buy a lens cleaner CD, or do it yourself). But if it's heavily scratched, then probably, though you could try getting it buffed, if it's important, worth a shot.

how do I Save a heavilty scartched CD?

the cd I dont think has scratches and the compueter cant read it? WHY? How do I Get my data?

First try a different cd in the player you are using to confirm that the cd you now have is bad or going bad you must follow instrustions or we cant help you. Second try your cd that's not working in another cd player to confirm weather its bad or not? then follow my instructions above on how to repair or try to repair the cd,
